TRIBUTE MARBLE STATUETTES
Α. The tribute marble statuettes of Hermes or Nike are each 70 cm high and are placed on 70 cm high pedestals along the streets of Heptapolis and connect the marble dividers of the streets with the gardens of Heptapolis.
Β. In a larger version, they are marble statuettes, 70 cm high, which are supported on marble Corinthian or Ionic capitals, 6-8 meters high.
The Nikes, with open wings as well as the statuettes of Hermes, are painted gold when supported on the top of the columns and white marble or gold on the bases, when supported on pillars.
C. SPONSOR’S TRIBUTE TO THE “NIKES” OF THE PILLARS
The name of the sponsor, his/her status, his/her country of residence, the date of placement of the anathema and the code number of the anathema are engraved on the front side of the stake, which is made of white marble, on which the “Nike” or “Hermes” is supported.
Based on the code number, the visitor of the website, through the database of sponsors, in the “MARBLE BIBLE OF BENEFICIARIES – SPONSORS”, will see the biography of the sponsor (if he/she has consented in writing) up to 333 words, in Greek and English, or in the local language of the sponsor.
D. SPONSOR’S TRIBUTE TO THE “NIKES” OF THE PILLARS OF THE COLUMNS
The name of the sponsor, his/her status, country of residence, the date of placement of the anathema and the code number of the anathema are engraved on a special plate at the base of the tribute column.
Based on the code number, the visitor of the website, through the database of sponsors, in the “MARBLE BIBLE OF BENEFICIARIES – SPONSORS”, will see the biography of the sponsor (if he/she has consented in writing) up to 333 words, in Greek and English, or in the local language of the sponsor.
STREET DECORATIONS
The streets and squares of Heptapolis will be decorated with marble dividers between the streets and gardens.
Marble floor pillars that will connect the dividers between them, will bear on their upper horizontal surface statues of Nike or Hermes of about 70 cm high each, in the colour of marble or gilded. The floor pessaries will also bear emblematic Koukunaria, symbols of the mid-6th century BC in Greece, as well as metal lampposts that will illuminate the streets and squares at night.
THE PRIVILEGES OF THE SPONSORS
The total cost of each sponsorship includes:
• The cost of construction of the Art Project, Petras, or Plakas.
• The cost of the construction of the pedestal supporting the Art Project with engraved inscription of the Sponsor’s data.
• The packaging and transportation of the Art Project to the warehouse of the Municipality of Levadeon.
• The transfer of the Art Project from the Municipality of Levades to HEPTAPOLIS.
• The placement of the Art Project in the selected permanent installation site, including the technical and crane support of the project.
• The installation of the Work of Art in the HEPTAPOLIS site, insured for the first 100 years, and its survival over the centuries in the site of the installation.
• Rental coverage of the Art Project’s installation space for the first 100 years.
• The preservation of the Art Project from the impacts of weather conditions or illegal human interventions, for the first 100 years.
• The installation on the page www.heptapolis.com at sublink “MARMARINE BIBLE OF SPONSORS-BENEFACTORS”, of the biography of the Sponsor up to 333 words, in two languages, one of which is chosen by the Sponsor.
• The indefinite retention, with a minimum period of the first 100 years, of the Sponsor’s biographical texts on the website www.heptapolis.com and the free promotion of the Sponsor’s website in any media of the Sponsor’s choice.
• The above excludes cases of unforeseen weather conditions due to natural disasters caused by Climate Change.
