Biography

Dimitrios N. Angelopoulos, with more than 50 years of experience in designing, producing and ensuring excellent structures for every use, in relation to the individual and the environment, has created a High Technology industrial unit, manned by executives (internal and external collaborators) with many years of experience in the field of Metal and Plastic Structures, Telecommunications as well as in the field of Environmental Protection with patents and certifications.

In his constructions he has always been innovative and a pioneer in Greece. His clients are Municipalities, Communities, Prefectures, Forestry, Agricultural Cooperatives, Organizations, Private Enterprises, Hotel Groups in Greece and abroad.

Some of the products he has manufactured are:

Telecommunication cages – Telecommunication fortification materials – Lightning rod boxes – T-12 type telephone boards with magnetic telephones.

At the beginning of the decade, it begins its cooperation with the country’s Armed Forces, undertaking the construction of 2,800 Telecommunication Cages – for the Army, Navy & Air Force, Telecommunication Fortification Materials – Lightning Boxes and 2,000 T-12 Telephone Boards with Magnetic Telephones.

Metal piggy banks

Manufactures 500,000 metal piggy banks for the Postal Savings Bank.

Metal and Plastic Helmets

M1 In 1975 it manufactures 450,000 M1 Metal and Plastic Helmets for the Greek Army and Air Force and another 500,000 helmets for various foreign countries.

Leisure boats

The manufacture of “A.HELLAS” boats begins, which, at its peak in the 1980s and the first half of the 1990s, evolved into one of the leading manufacturers of polyester leisure boats throughout Europe, with exports of many thousands of boats in Europe and around the world.

Compact type stand-alone biological treatment plants

Since the beginning of the decade, anticipating the future, it decides to enter into new activities and the manufacture of new products related to renewable energy and the environment. Thus, it starts the construction and installation of Compact type Autonomous Biological Treatment Plants, providing a definitive solution to the needs of urban wastewater and waste treatment for a population of 10 to 5,000 people, with the installation of more than 1,000 urban wastewater treatment plants for residential, hotel, camping and industrial buildings in Greece and abroad.

Metal tanks type WATERLOCK

At the same time, the design, engineering, construction and installation of 1,000 prefabricated WATERLOCK metal tanks is started throughout Greece and abroad. The WATERLOCK tanks are made of quality materials that are highly compatible with the hygienic protection of the contents, which can be drinking water, water for water supply, irrigation, fire fighting, etc. The capacity of the tanks is from 10m3 to 5000m3. Especially for cases of water intake tanks for fire-fighting helicopters, HELI- WATERLOCK tanks are produced according to the specifications of the fire service.

Meteorological tissues

Manufactures and installs around 2 500 meteorological masts, covering the requirements for recording and monitoring the weather parameters necessary for the installation of renewable energy sources, such as wind turbines, etc.

Autonomous Hybrid System

In 1985, the design, engineering, and construction of an innovative Autonomous Hybrid System is initiated to provide 500 to 3,000 Watts of electricity for each use of which 1,500 are exported to Libya.

Autonomous Phone Booths

In the early 1990s, it manufactures Autonomous Telephone Booths using photovoltaic panels, providing autonomy for wireless payphones, of which 15,000 are installed abroad and about 2,000 in our country. Container-type cottages Supplying OTE with 150 container-type cottages for the installation of telecommunications antennas.

Wind turbine blades

Participates in the national project EPET-II 573 / “Development of Greek Wind Turbine Technology and simultaneous Development of Greek Wind Turbine Blade Technology” where its role in the project was the development and manufacture of wind turbine blades. The above projects were carried out in collaboration with partners, the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) through the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Fluids, the University of Patras in collaboration with the Department of Aeronautics and Mechanical Engineering and the Applied Engineering Laboratory, the Centre for Renewable Energy Sources (KAPE), PPC and PYRKAL.

Telecards – Time Cards and Smart Cards in general

Sets up the largest production unit in the country for the manufacture of Telecards – Time Cards and Smart Cards of various uses supported by programs according to the needs or specificities of each company or Service. It supplied more than 500.000.000 telecards to OTE and another 500.000.000.000 cards of various uses in Greece and abroad.

Design and construction of an innovative system of coastal protection and regeneration that has been successfully implemented on many beaches in Greece and abroad.

Floating Piers

During the same period he designed and constructed Floating Piers made of aluminium and Irocco wood, which are installed in many marinas and ports in Greece and abroad.

The depletion of groundwater, combined with the ever-increasing price of electricity, necessitates a radical change in the way fields are irrigated. The Field Irrigation System offers a solution to the problem by saving water and energy. Fire Protection System PYROSTOP

The PYROSTOP Fire Protection System with rotating fire extinguishing water and fire extinguishing material ejectors that ejects water at a diameter of 80 – 120m. It is suitable for forest firefighting zones or guarding villages – settlements – hamlets – hamlets – houses. It operates independently or in combination with water tanks and corresponding pressure and yield pumps in cubic metres.

DNA HYDROPONIC FODDER MILLING UNIT Today, it is successfully proceeding with the design and construction of the DNA BIOLOGICAL FRESH FARMING UNIT which is manufactured entirely in Greece with durable materials such as aluminium, stainless steel and plastic for long lasting durability and resistance. Hydroponic farming offers many advantages over conventional feed growing. The breeder produces the food he needs for his animals himself, having full control of it, without the need to cultivate land, agricultural machinery and large storage areas and with huge benefits in terms of food quality – and thus the health of the animal – and in terms of economy in today’s difficult conditions, especially in the agricultural and livestock sector.
